Always begin troubleshooting your Kyocera copier with some basics. Make sure correctly sized paper is in the paper trays. Make sure the copier has a fresh batch of staples as well. You can replace staples by opening the stapler cover, removing the stapler holder and inserting a new staple cartridge. Make sure the copier is plugged into a working outlet. Try plugging the copier into a different outlet to verify whether the problem is with the copier or the outlet. Finally, make sure the copier is actually turned on and warmed up. Make sure the glass is clean and free from dirt or fingerprints. If your copies are coming out fuzzy or unclear, it may indicate a dirty glass. Clean the glass regularly. Finally, check your settings to verify you have selected the correct paper size and function for your copying job. Most Kyocera copiers have an LCD screen that will allow you to select different functions and settings. Play around with the settings until you get your desired output. To Power Off or Not to Power Off? 12/29/2011
Most copiers manufactured today have a energy saving mode or "sleep mode" so you don't have to turn the device off at the end of the day. Leave the copier on and this will help dry out any moisture that may be present in the copier and on the paper inside of the copier. Also, this helps in the "warming up" process the copier has to go through before operating. Just make sure your copier is connected to a power line filter or surge protector in case of a power failure. Maintaining the Paper Used In the Copier. Keeping the copier paper away from moisture is one tip in maintaining your copier. Moisture in paper can cause the copier to jam. To prevent this from happening, seal any paper you open by placing the remaining paper in a plastic locking bag. Try to open and load the entire ream of paper only when the copier is almost empty. Also, keep all paper out of the light---light will cause the paper to yellow. Are you need of some good Tech Solutions? 12/28/2011

Through a Michigan technology service provider, Center for Business Innovation, Kyocera Mita is helping Dearborn Public Schools save nearly 14.6% on their technology costs. "The print.Reliance solution will help DPS control and reduce their print costs, streamline their consumables, increase the productivity of the administrative staff and facilitate teachers in the classrooms. The solution includes cost-effective devices through a Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) setup. CBI assumes ownership of all the devices as well as the responsibility and management for them, in turn reducing the technology expenses for DPS. CBI is also able to remotely manage the print devices and consumables throughout the entire school district." You may be thinking what is the catch here. Nothing is just given away. This is where Kyocera Mita has helped its technology service providers show the cost benefit of streamlining the print side of things. One manufacturer of printer, one manufacturer of toner, one service provider all equal great savings over the save up front and pray it doesn't break in the end philosophy. “We placed DPS on a pre-set cost-per-print contract. Between our print.Reliance cost structure and our HaaS setup, we eliminate the need for DPS to have capital expenditures for these devices,” says Jim Rainsberger, vice president of CBI. | Company:Empire Office Machines, Inc is a local business that has been serving the Helena area for the past 44 years.
