POP ink is specially designed for offset printing that does not absorb paper on the surface such as aluminum foil paper. Compared with ordinary ink, POP ink has the characteristics of high concentration, strong coloring power, less ink consumption, good adhesion on aluminum foil surface, fast fixation, excellent drying and so on. The technical characteristics of POP ink are mainly good adhesion performance, excellent drying performance, high gloss, good transferability, strong film strength, abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance (160 ℃), bright color.

The main advantage of POP ink over other inks is that other inks cannot be printed on vacuum aluminized film, gold and silver cardboard, film, synthetic paper, and various non-absorbent materials because of adhesion and drying problems. Therefore, when printing non-absorbent materials, POP ink must be used.

Compared with UV inks, the advantages of POP inks are:

1. The price is only half of UV ink, and the color is brighter than UV ink, which is not easy to dry;

2. POP ink can be printed with a general offset printing machine, and UV ink needs to be equipped with a light curing machine;

3. The printing machine for printing POP ink does not need to be equipped with special ink roller, blanket, water reel sleeve, washing machine water, etc. Therefore, the use of POP ink has a certain price advantage.

5. Notes on the use of DIC Baofeng ink products:

In the process of using POP ink, the minimum amount of dampening water should be controlled. The pH is generally between PH 5-6, and the temperature of the dampening water should not be too high, otherwise it will cause emulsification, generally between 10 ~ 15 ℃. In the case of adding desiccant or other additives, the amount should not exceed 2%, and the speed should not be too fast, preferably controlled at 8000 ~ 10000PCs / h. The temperature and humidity of the printing workshop should not be too high, otherwise it will increase the moisture on the plate surface and produce emulsification. Generally, the temperature is controlled at 25 to 28 ℃, and the humidity is about 60%.
