[Chinese Packaging News] Customized feeding devices are not only expensive to manufacture but also limited in application and lack flexibility. As a result, most items are transported using conveyor belts or traditional material vehicles. However, the challenge remains: how can robots be used to automatically pick up packaging tasks for bulk workpieces? A robot integration engineer from Lisung Automation Co., Ltd. provided an effective solution for a foreign-funded enterprise in Suzhou. outdoor furniture, modern outdoor furniture, patio furniture, rattan garden furniture, garden furniture sets, aluminium garden furniture Auxford furniture , https://www.auxfurniture.com
The customer’s item is a small rectangular low box. After production, it is transported via a conveyor belt to the packing area and then stored. The client wanted to replace manual packing with robotic automation to improve efficiency and reduce labor costs.
To address this need, Lishen's integrated engineers deployed three FANUC LR Mate 200iD robots. These robots come equipped with advanced features that make them ideal for high-speed, flexible, and accurate handling:
First, they can be installed on both the floor and ceiling. Based on the layout of the workshop, two picking robots were mounted on the ceiling, while one boxing robot was placed on the ground.
Second, these robots support high-speed operation, enabling efficient pick-and-place actions even at high speeds.
Third, the "RobotLink" function allows multiple robots to move simultaneously, ensuring smooth coordination during complex tasks.
Fourth, the IRVISION visual system enables quick identification of workpiece positions, making it easier for the robot to grasp components accurately.
Fifth, the online tracking function helps the robot capture moving objects on the conveyor belt, ensuring precise and timely picking.
Sixth, the pressure sensing feature prevents damage to the materials during grasping and packing.
Lastly, the anti-collision function enhances safety by minimizing unnecessary interventions and ensuring a secure working environment.
