**Step-by-step process:**
1. Start by cutting off the extra flaps on the top of the milk powder box. Place a book inside to determine the size. Cut one side of the box so that it’s about one-third narrower than the book, and trim both sides of the front. Then draw a diagonal line and cut the box into a trapezoid shape. This design makes it easier to place and retrieve books. The basic structure is now complete, and the rest is just decoration.
2. Apply double-sided tape to each side of the cut box. Measure and cut the wrapping paper slightly smaller than the box, then fold the excess over to the other side to avoid rough edges after pasting. Wrap both the inside and outside of the box with the paper. Once done, the bookshelf will already look neat and functional.
3. For a more elegant look, add some decorative lace along the edges of the shelf. This adds a soft, retro feel and gives the bookshelf more character.
