When you participate in outdoor activities, rest or snake-inhabited grass, stone crevices, dead wood, bamboo forests, creeks, or other dark, damp and wet places, do not be overwhelmed if you are accidentally bitten by a snake. First, it should be judged whether it is a snake bite.
Usually two larger and deeper teeth marks are observed on the wound to be judged as a snake bite. If there is no tooth mark and there is no local pain, swelling, numbness, and weakness within 20 minutes, no snake bites. Only need to clean the wound, stop bleeding, bandage. If conditions permit, then send a tetanus needle to the hospital.

The main symptoms of poisonous snake bites are: in the case of hemorrhagic venom: the wound burns, local swelling and spread, there are purple spots, ecchymosis, blisters around the wound, there is pulpy blood exudation from the wound, skin or subcutaneous tissue necrosis, Fever, nausea, vomiting, seven hemorrhoids. Blood stasis, hematuria, lower blood pressure, narrowed pupils, cramps, etc. Death may be caused within 6 to 48 hours after being bitten.

If it is a nervous venom: wound pain, local swelling, lethargy, movement disorders, drooping eyelids, dilated pupils, local weakness, swallowing paralysis, stuttering, drooling, nausea, vomiting, coma, breathing difficulties, and even respiratory failure. The injured may die within 8-72 hours. In general, 10-20 minutes after being bitten by a poisonous snake, its symptoms gradually returned.

After being bitten, fighting for time is the most important. First, you need to find a cloth or long shoelace on the side of the wound to the heart, but be sure to pay attention to 15 minutes to relax 2-3 minutes. Repeatedly flushed snake venom on the surface of the wound with cold water. Then, with the tooth mark as the center, the skin of the wound was cut into a cross with a sterile knife. Then use two hands to squeeze, cupping, or cover 4-5 layers of gauze on the wound, and forcefully suck it through the mouth with gauze (the mouth can't have wounds, and taking drugs through the mouth is not a good method. People who use drugs may also be poisoned). Try to suck the venom out of the wound. Take anti-snake venom tablets immediately and apply anti-snake poison powder around the wounds, but do not apply alcohol to the wounds. Try to slow down the actions of the injured and quickly send them to nearby hospitals for treatment. (If it is not certain that the venom should kill the snake, it should be taken to the hospital.)
