White Arkitekter
, who boldly declared that by 2030, all buildings designed by their firm would be
carbon neutral
.
“Achieving zero-carbon architecture is the biggest challenge we have,â€

“When
Gabriel Tan
first visited
Portugal
in 2014 as a tourist, he was captivated by the craftsmanship of the country. He then launched
Origin
to highlight these traditions. This is the second collection for the brand, exploring the connections between Scandinavia and Portugal. Nine projects from nine designers (six of whom are Scandinavian) and seven Portuguese artisans have collaborated to produce a diverse range of products including

“The ground floor of
Hotel At Six
has always served as a showcase for top-tier design brands, and for the second consecutive year, Danish legend
Gubi
has taken up residence. Alongside pieces from their existing collection (reupholstered in sheepskin), they’ve introduced a series of new travertine

and new lighting and furniture by Danish duo

“The roster of creators visiting
Iittala’s glass blowing factory
in far-off
Finland
reads like a who’s who of the design world. In 2014,
Ronan
and Erwan
Bouroullec
made the journey and created
Ruutu
– a collection of large hand-blown vases. This year, they’re adding hollow cast ceramic editions and 500mm glass editions to the family, all displayed at the
Wetterling Gallery
. The brothers also crafted hand-blown glass flowers to place inside them.â€
